Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tyre Fitter / Wheel Aligner to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting new tyres, performing wheel alignments, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles operate smoothly and safely. Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres using specialized equipment with precision and care
- Conduct wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling, tyre wear, and safety standards
- Inspect vehicles for damage or wear, providing recommendations for maintenance or repairs as needed
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to tyres, wheels, and suspension components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist customers by explaining services performed, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety
Qualifications
- Proven tyre fitting and wheel alignment experience
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tyres or vehicle components
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate wheel alignments and quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks efficiently
- Prior experience working with maintenance procedures or automotive repairs is advantageous
- able to cover at other sites when needed
