Job Title: Assistant Nursery Manager

Salary: £28,730.00 - 33,150.00
Are you a passionate and experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant Nursery Manager to join our team and support the day-to-day running of a high-quality nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and deputise for the Nursery Manager in all areas of nursery operations.
- Lead and mentor staff, driving a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous development.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and EYFS/Ofsted standards are fully met.
- Oversee curriculum delivery, child development tracking, and SEND support.
- Build strong relationships with parents through clear communication and regular updates.
- Maintain health & safety standards, complete risk assessments, and manage incidents.
- Assist with business operations including staffing, budgets, and administration.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred).
- At least 2 years’ management experience in an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks.
- Paediatric First Aid & DSL certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Confident with digital systems (e.g., parent apps, online observations).
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
