Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a reputable and prominent regional firm of chartered accountants in Dover who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior / Assistant Manager to join their growing team.
The Role
You will undertake a varied mix of accounts and audit work, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Completing accounts and tax compliance assignments
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Supervising and supporting junior team members
- Reviewing audit files and ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard
- Assisting with technical queries and providing solutions to clients
About You
- ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist (QBE candidates will also be considered DOE)
- Previous experience in a mixed accounts and audit role within practice
- Strong technical accounts and audit knowledge
- Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive approach with a desire to progress within practice
