NJ Screen Prints is based in Hinckley and is the region’s leading volume screen printer of garments to retail and trade. We share our site with Bioworld International which is a joint venture business owned by NJ Screen Prints and the US based Bioworld Merch who are global leaders in the design and development of licensed products.
We are looking for an experienced Bendi, Pivot Steer & FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse team which covers both inbound and outbound operations.
The role of Warehouse Operative is to perform various duties including movement of stock, order picking and Bendi Truck/FLT operations. Team members must be able to communicate, read and write well as there are work documents to follow and forms to complete in this role. You must be confident in counting stock, pay careful attention to detail and be committed to achieving accuracy in your work.
You must have a Bendi/Pivot Steer Truck licence & FLT licence.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manual handling
- Warehouse operations
- Bendi / Pivot and FLT operating
- Checking Goods delivered for stock code and quantity and reporting discrepancies
- Checking and loading Goods out for despatch to customers
- Picking stock for production orders
- Unloading and loading lorries
- Transfer of stock to and from print rooms on pallets or in trollies
- Process stock movements
- Stock checking
- Restacking pallets to condense stock and maximise storage space
- FLT safety checks, battery recharging
- Safe warehouse and yard practises
- stock rotation, return and relocation
- To be flexible within the company, to help out in other areas when required to do so.
Qualifications
- Valid Bendi/Pivot truck license and forklift certification.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems.
- Mechanical knowledge or ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent materials handling skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
