We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Coordinator to join our dedicated team.
About the role
You will be responsible for planning, promoting, and delivering a diverse range of events – from high-profile regattas and corporate functions to club socials and private celebrations. You will play a key role in maintaining the Club’s excellent reputation for hospitality and seamless event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
○ Develop, manage and deliver a year-round calendar of events.
○ Liaise across Club teams, members, suppliers and clients to ensure the utmost co-ordination and collaboration.
○ Oversee event logistics including bookings, staffing, and equipment.
○ Manage budgets and maintain effective cost control.
○ Lead the execution of events and activations, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring a positive experience.
Promotion & Marketing
○ Create compelling promotional campaigns for events across digital, print, and social media.
○ Produce event collateral such as invitations, posters, and programmes.
○ Manage content updates for the Club’s website and newsletters relating to events.
Member Engagement & Communication
○ Maintain excellent communication with members regarding upcoming events and Club activities.
○ Respond promptly and professionally to event inquiries and feedback.
○ Follow requirements and guidance on events prioritisation and positioning of the Club as a host.
Technology & Administration:
○ Use event management and CRM software to organise and track events.
○ Produce reports, maintain accurate records, and support financial reconciliation.
○ Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, social media platforms).

● Proven experience in event coordination, ideally within a hospitality, club, or sports environment.
● Strong promotional and marketing abilities with a creative flair.
● Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
● Confident communicator with a professional and engaging manner.
● Technically proficient with a high level of computer literacy.
● Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities including with multiple stakeholders.
● Flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
