Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Greeting Card Sales Representative to manage both wholesale and retail accounts. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, expanding sales channels, and representing our brand with professionalism. Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing wholesale and retail clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with clients to secure favourable agreements that benefit both parties.
- Conduct regular visits to clients' premises, including driving to various locations as required.
- Present our product range effectively, highlighting features and benefits tailored to client needs.
- Manage sales pipelines using IT tools, ensuring accurate record-keeping of client interactions and sales progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfilment, delivery schedules, and promotional activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally.
- Organise product samples, marketing materials, and promotional events to support sales initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the greeting card or related creative industries.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience in managing customer accounts and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently between client locations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in IT systems for managing contacts, orders, and sales data efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time well.
