As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital part in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency behind the scenes, ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and safely every day. Hours of work: 30 hours per week - various shift patterns on a rota.
Location: Transport is required due to location and shift patterns.

Duties
- Responsible for thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients are stored correctly.
- Dispose of waste safely and efficiently, following environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, sinks, and storage areas to prevent hazards and promote a sanitary environment.
- Support serving staff during busy service times by clearing tables and assisting with basic hospitality tasks.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Pay: £14.50 per hour
