What you'll actually do
There are two types of visits.
Survey visit: You attend the property, assess the existing system, and tell us exactly what boiler, parts and materials are needed. You don't discuss pricing or timelines with the customer - we take it from there.
Installation day: We purchase everything you need and have it on site before you arrive. You carry out the installation to your usual standard, sign it off, and let us know it's done.
Most jobs are like-for-like combi replacements. Worcester Bosch and Vaillant are our preferred brands, though experience with other major brands is welcome.
The deal
Pay - £500 per standard combi installation. Day rate available for complex jobs. Engineers taking regular work from us typically earn between £1,500 and £2,500 per week.
Materials - we buy everything. Boiler, parts, consumables. It all arrives on site before you do. You never front a penny.
Payment - same day, every time. Job done and signed off, payment sent. No 30-day terms, no chasing.
Flexibility - you tell us your availability, we fit jobs around you. Take as much or as little work as you want.
Admin - zero. We handle the customer from first enquiry to aftercare. Your only contact with us is to report the survey findings and confirm the install is complete.
What we need from you
You must be Gas Safe registered - this is non-negotiable and we will verify your registration before any work begins.
Beyond that, we're looking for someone with at least two years of hands-on combi boiler installation experience, their own tools and vehicle, public liability insurance, and the ability to cover Cornwall and Devon.
We reply to every application within 24 hours. If we think there's a fit, we'll arrange a quick phone call before any work is allocated.
