Area Manager – Pub group
Location: London and South of England (with travel)
Salary: £40,000 plus travel & bonus scheme

Beach Pubs UK Ltd is looking for an experienced, hands-on Area Manager to support and develop a growing estate of managed pubs.
We currently have 9 sites, with more being actively sought.
Some sites are located within London, with others located in Oxford & Bristol.
This is a varied role that combines operational excellence and creative flair with business development. You'll work closely with pub managers to improve standards, increase profitability and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit pubs weekly to support and coach managers.
- Review sales, GP, labour costs and trading performance.
- Carry out operational audits and ensure compliance.
- Help recruit, train and develop pub managers and teams.
- Support new pub acquisitions and business takeovers.
- Oversee stock control and investigate stock variances.
- Drive food, drink and entertainment initiatives to grow sales.
- Ensure licensing, health & safety and legal compliance.
- Work with senior management to identify opportunities for improvement.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous multi-site pub management experience.
- Strong financial understanding including P&L, GP and labour costs.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- A hands-on approach with high standards.
- An eye for creative detail in terms of how the venue looks, menus are designed and posters displayed.
- The ability to build great relationships with managers and landlords.
- A full UK driving licence.
