Duties
- Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after dental procedures to ensure comfort and reassurance.
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring the clinical area is sterile and organized.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols to aid accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, documenting treatments, observations, and relevant information clearly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and post-treatment care instructions in clear English.
- Support infection control procedures by sterilizing equipment and managing clinical waste responsibly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for Trainee Nurses eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for managing digital records,
- Demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in patient care, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety compliance.
