We currently have 2 part time vacancies for Domestic Assistants to join our team.
These positions will involve working within our Nursing & Residential Units 18 hours per week over 3 days, which will involve working part of alternate weekends. Shift times are 09:30am - 4:00pm
As a Domestic Assistant you’ll be working as part of the wider team to make sure our residents receive a high standard of care and support in the best possible surroundings. By ensuring the residents surroundings within the buildings are clean, hygienic and well presented, you’ll be playing your own part in helping everyone to feel comfortable and at home.
This role will involve hoovering, mopping, dusting cleaning, and contributing to the overall look and feel of the home.
The ideal candidates will have a personable approach, good practical skills and a determination to provide a high level of service. They will also be a good time keeper, reliable and committed to making a positive difference to our residents.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
JOB PURPOSE: To maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents, in accordance with Croft Care Trust policies & procedures.

No formal qualifications are required to undertake this role as appropriate training will be provided

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Spot cleaning of carpets/flooring
2. Operating hand held powered equipment such as vacuum cleaners or carpet cleaner
3. Sweeping and mopping
4. Toilet cleaning
5. Cleaning of residents individual rooms and performing of domestic work including but not limited to cleaning and washing
6. Dusting of hard surfaces
7. Wiping and sweeping under around seats and table tops
8. Telephone cleaning & germ proofing
9. Re-arrange and re-organising furniture
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
