Serving members of the local community as well as those in the Armed Forces, we provide an excellent standard of service for all of our guests. With live music, quiz nights, skittles games and weekend events, we are always looking for the next way to bring entertainment and fun to the people of Ilchester.
We are seeking an experienced and friendly Bar Supervisor to join our team. A successful candidate will be able to open and close the bar on their own, as well as work alongside other team members. They will be confident in handling difficult situations on their own, be self-motivated and hard working. They will be friendly and make The Bull Inn a safe and welcoming establishment whenever they are behind the bar.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with hygiene standards.
- Open and closing duties of the bar.
- Work alone and alongside the team.
- Able to handle difficult situations confidently.
- Cash handling.
- Assist in line-cleaning and bar operations.
**Evening and weekend availability is a must**
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment, ideally in bars or restaurants.
- Experience pouring pints and other alcoholic beverages.
- Familair with bar operations such as stock and barrel changes.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
