We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Locum Dentist to provide high-quality dental care on a temporary basis. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Perform a wide range of dental treatments, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to diagnose and plan treatments effectively.
- Apply anatomical knowledge to ensure precise and safe procedures tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations throughout all procedures.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Dentist with registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining treatment options clearly to patients.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
