We are looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team working on high-quality remediation and structural repair projects in and around Milton Keynes.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on varied projects requiring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
The Role
You will be carrying out a range of carpentry works including:
- First and second fix carpentry
- Timber frame and structural timber repairs
- Fire remediation works
- Installation of doors, skirting, architraves and ironmongery
- Floor and roof timber repairs
- General refurbishment and remedial carpentry
- Working from drawings and engineers’ details
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ carpentry experience
- Own tools
- CSCS Card
- Excellent all-round carpentry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High standards of workmanship and reliability
Desirable
- Experience working on timber-frame or timber-structured buildings
- Experience carrying out structural timber repairs
- Fire remediation or insurance repair experience
- SSSTS (advantageous but not essential)
Pay: £25.00-£27.50 per hour
