Retail Sales Assistant – GreetVape
Location: Ellesmere Port, CH65
30 Hours per week
Contract: Flexible Zero Hours (progression to 40 hours per week)
About the Role
We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping grow the GreetVape brand. You'll be the welcoming face of our store, guiding customers through their vaping and CBD wellness journey, maintaining outstanding store standards, supporting in-store marketing activities, and managing our social media presence.
This is more than a traditional retail role. Alongside driving sales, you'll help create engaging store displays, execute promotional campaigns, capture content, manage social media platforms, and build our brand both in-store and online.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
- Deliver personalised, friendly service to every customer.
- Advise customers on vape devices, e-liquids, CBD wellness products and accessories.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with UK vaping regulations (training provided).
Store Operations & Visual Merchandising
- Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked retail environment.
- Create attractive product displays and merchandising layouts.
- Ensure promotional materials and point-of-sale displays are current and visually appealing.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment and inventory management.
Store Marketing Activities
- Plan and execute in-store marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Create eye-catching product displays to maximise sales.
- Support new product launches and seasonal promotions.
- Organise sampling days, customer engagement events and local marketing initiatives.
- Build relationships with nearby businesses and the local community to increase brand awareness.
- Assist with loyalty campaigns and customer retention activities.
- Identify opportunities to increase footfall and improve the overall customer experience.
Social Media Management
- Create engaging photo and video content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms.
- Manage daily social media activity including posting, stories, reels and customer engagement.
- Promote products, offers, competitions and events across social channels.
- Respond to customer messages and comments professionally.
- Capture in-store content showcasing products, promotions and customer experiences.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest creative content ideas.
- Help grow GreetVape's online community and brand presence.
- Maintain a consistent brand image across all digital platforms.
Brand Ambassador
- Represent GreetVape professionally both in-store and online.
- Participate in brand activations, partnerships and community events.
- Encourage customer engagement through both face-to-face interactions and digital platforms.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' retail or customer service experience (vape industry preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of vape products, CBD wellness and UK market trends (preferred).
- Experience creating social media content for business or personal brands.
- Confident using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other social media platforms.
- Creative eye for photography, video content and merchandising.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude, reliability and eagerness to learn.
- Comfortable representing the brand both in-store and online.
