About the Role
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and looking for a part-time role that fits around school hours?
accord is looking for a Sales Operations Administrator to support our growing sales team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our sales administration runs smoothly from the moment a customer places an order through to invoicing, supplier processing and payment allocation.
You'll work with our state-of-the-art cloud financial systems, Sage Intacct and Monday.com, alongside our sales, finance and operations teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience, and our internal processes are efficient and accurate.
This role would suit someone who enjoys administration, thrives on accuracy and takes pride in keeping everything organised.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for the administration of our software sales process, including:
- Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Raising invoices for new software subscriptions, renewals and professional services.
- Managing annual software licence renewals.
- Entering supplier purchase orders relating to software subscriptions and licences.
- Processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
- Recording customer payments within Sage Intacct.
- Allocating customer receipts to outstanding invoices.
- Liaising with the sales team to ensure customer orders are processed promptly.
- Supporting month-end invoicing activities.
- Maintaining accurate customer and contract records.
- Assisting with general sales administration and reporting.
- Following up overdue invoices.
- Preparing monthly recurring invoices.
- Ordering software licences from Sage and third-party vendors.
- Helping ensure an exceptional customer experience through efficient administration.

Essential Skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong administration experience.
- High level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
Desirable
- Experience using Sage Intacct, Sage 50 or another accounting system.
- Experience processing sales orders, invoices or purchase orders.
- Experience working in a software, technology or professional services business.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
