Field House Nursery is an fantastic unique setting looking to appoint a qualified nursery nurse/early years educator to work within our very creative and caring environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Be able to demonstrate reliability and initiative.
· To work within our Early Years Team, supporting the planning and implementation of the learning and development by promoting effective teaching and learning as set of with the Statutory Framework and our curriculum.
· To ensure that your playroom is safe and suitably set out to support effective learning within a stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
· To ensure all prime areas as well as the specific areas are planned for.
· To provide support for our children’s emotional and social needs by implementing the principles of the nursery Behaviour Management Policy and role modelling high standards in all aspects of their role and personal conduct.
· To promote inclusion of all children and families.
· To work as part of our Early Years Team which provides a purposeful, stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
· To use professional knowledge of the individual and diverse ways that children learn and development to meet their needs.
· To provide and deliver a high standard of quality childcare and teaching, while creating a friendly and welcoming environment for all.
· To work as both a member of our staff team and, with confidence, on an independent basis using own initiative.
· To provide and support nursery’s commitment to a safe and secure environment for children in all aspects of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
· Maintain confidentiality at all times.
· To develop effective partnerships with parents
· To ensure that you are up to date with all government documentation, legislation, guidance’s and reading materials to maintain a high quality of knowledge and understanding within the sector.
· To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager.
· To be a good role model for your colleague, other professional, parents, visitors, children and parents.
