Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations to assess dental and facial structures, including detailed knowledge of anatomy relevant to orthodontic treatment.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate advanced orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers.
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design precise orthodontic devices tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Interpret medical imaging, including X-rays and 3D scans, to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, making adjustments to appliances and treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care for lasting results.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure seamless communication across the care team.
Qualifications
- Valid dental license with specialization in orthodontics from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing orthodontic treatments using CAD technology.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to facial structure and dental alignment.
- Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays and 3D scans for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically.
