We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly reliable Estate Maintenance & Facilities Technician to join our small, friendly team at Maltings Place – a unique, privately-owned mixed-use estate in Bermondsey.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining our high standards across a portfolio of premium office space, communal areas, landscaped gardens and residential properties, ensuring everything is presented to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Basic carpentry, decorating, plumbing and maintenance works
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Responding to tenant maintenance requests
- Regular inspections of buildings and external areas
- Identifying and resolving issues before they become problems
- Assisting with small refurbishment and improvement projects
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment throughout the estate
About You
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or building services role
- Practical, hands-on and able to turn your hand to a wide range of repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Friendly, professional and confident dealing with tenants and contractors
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
