Domestic Cleaner - Term time only
Location: St Elizabeth’s Centre, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
Salary: £12,392 annum (£12.71 per hour)
Contract Type: Permanent | Part-time
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 4pm - 9pm, 25 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)

About the Role
As a domestic cleaner, you'll play an important part in keeping our buildings clean, safe and welcoming
Working as part of our friendly Domestic Services Team, you'll help maintain a range of environments across our site, including classrooms, residential areas, communal spaces, toilets and other shared facilities.
You'll follow established cleaning schedules, work to high hygiene standards and respond to the needs of the people and teams around you
No two days are exactly the same - but every day, you'll know that the work you do matters.
What you’ll do:

Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and emptying bins.

Clean toilets and washrooms to high hygiene standards and restock supplies.

Follow daily cleaning schedules while being responsive to ad-hoc requests.

Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.

Report any faults or maintenance issues promptly.

Complete cleaning stock orders and keep records up to date.

Work in line with COSHH and Health & Safety procedures

Undertake relevant training and support wider team needs where required.
About You
You don't need to have worked in a specialist care or education setting before. What matters most is that you're reliable, take pride in your work and care about doing things properly.
You'll be someone who understands that the little things matter - from a spotless classroom to a clean and welcoming communal space.
