The Store Manager Role
Our store and concession managers are vital members of the Moda in Pelle family. You will be able to critically assess your store's performance and know how to deliver consistently fantastic results. We are looking for someone who can manage people with warmth and efficiency, and always get the best from your team members through motivation and thoughtful management. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and visual merchandising.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and optimise product placement.
- Oversee staffing schedules, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
- Maintain organisational standards by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Coordinate stock replenishment, inventory management, and merchandising activities to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met.
- Foster a positive shopping environment that encourages repeat business through effective team leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
- Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management, training, and development.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as reporting, stock control systems, and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and sales management techniques.
- Exceptional organisational skills coupled with attention to detail in maintaining store standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
