About the Role
As Retail Team Leader, you will be the primary on-site point of contact, providing day-to-day leadership and support to the retail team. You will ensure excellent customer service, maintain high operational standards, coordinate daily activities, and support the achievement of sales and performance targets.
Working closely with the Retail Operations Manager and wider business teams, you will help create an engaging shopping experience while ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the retail team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve store targets.
- Coordinate daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient trading and strong team performance.
- Coach, train and develop team members, providing ongoing guidance and feedback.
- Maintain high standards of product presentation, stock availability and store cleanliness.
- Support sales growth through product knowledge, upselling and customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and company procedures.
- Manage cash handling, store administration and operational reporting.
- Act as a key holder and primary point of contact during trading hours.
- Support the delivery of in-store events, tastings and promotional activities.
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues while promoting the Brindisa brand.
Pay: £32,260.00 per year
