**About the role**
We're hiring hands-on, reliable crew to help build, run, and break down some of London's biggest exhibitions and live events, from concerts and conferences to weddings and corporate functions. You'll be part of the team that makes the behind-the-scenes stuff happen: loading in, setting up, and getting spaces show-ready.
This is physical, fast-paced work. You'll be on your feet for extended periods and need to be comfortable lifting 14–23kg (35–50lbs) regularly.
We're recruiting into two roles:
Exhibition Porter → Show Leader
Handling the flow of exhibitions from load-in to floor-ready.
What you'll be doing:
- Loading and unloading furniture from lorries
- Distributing furniture throughout event spaces
- Working from detailed exhibition floor plans
- Handling exhibitor queries with good customer service
Progress to Show Leader: experienced porters can move into overseeing a staff on site assisting with tasks, liaising with transport and event organisers, training crew members, and managing timesheets.
Event Crew → Crew Chief
Building the spaces events happen in, from stages to full sets.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting up and breaking down event spaces
- Building and dismantling temporary stages and seating structures
- Rigging and de-rigging sound, AV, and lighting equipment
- Constructing event sets
Progress to Crew Chief: experienced crew can move into leading a crew on site running the build/de-rig, liaising with production teams and clients, training crew members, and managing timesheets.
