We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs
- Replace worn or damaged parts with precision and care
- Perform routine servicing tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks when required, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with previous experience in vehicle repair or maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose faults accurately
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are desirable
- A valid driving licence is required
