About Us
Fit Out Gym Solutions is a leading specialist in commercial gym installations, relocations and refurbishments across the UK. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a hardworking, organised and reliable Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the warehouse, organising commercial gym equipment, maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring equipment is prepared for projects and customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect and organise incoming commercial gym equipment.
- Accurately record all stock movements in and out of the warehouse.
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe working environment.
- Safely lift, move and store heavy commercial gym equipment.
- Operate a forklift to load, unload and move equipment around the warehouse (where licensed).
- Prepare equipment for customer deliveries, installations and collections.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using safe manual handling techniques.
- Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify damaged or missing equipment and report any discrepancies.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure projects are prepared on time.
- Take ownership of the warehouse, ensuring it remains organised, efficient and presentable at all times.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving heavy commercial gym equipment.
- Previous warehouse, logistics or stock control experience is preferred.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and proactive with a strong work ethic.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable. Candidates without a licence must be willing and able to undertake forklift training and obtain certification.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
