Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and public spaces according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels to ensure guest comfort
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and safety compliance
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to protect yourself and others
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with guest service expectations
- Strong janitorial skills with knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure every area is spotless and well-maintained
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service in a welcoming atmosphere
Pay: £14.00-£16.50 per hour
