Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to the SIP business that enables the business to provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service to the SIP clients and helps drive the business forward.
- Assist in the management and compliance of all technical issues relevant to the business line.
- Monitor, interpret and analyse the impact of legislative and other regulatory changes as they affect SIP for the purpose of identifying practical changes to procedures and training notes to ensure continued technical and FCA compliance of the business line.
- Proactively identify and take forward the development of technical improvements within the business line to mitigate risk and improve business line efficiency.
- Proactively coach and develop staff and identify training needs within the business
- Deliver technical training to the highest standard, proactively contribute to the development of training material.
- Continuously maintain and promote the SIP procedures and training notes in a technically complete and FCA compliant form communicating any changes in plain English.
- Take ownership of problems / issues and escalate relevant issues to relevant internal departments.
- Proactively provide constructive feedback to Team Managers in relation to staff to help reward and identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain the Business Line Technical Task list and the Regular Task list.
- Help resolve complaints cases as directed by the Management Team.
- Undertake Monthly Risk Audit and department checking (performance measures).
- Be main contact point or relationship manager with external companies, attending client meetings where required.
Your Profile:
Essential:

Detailed experience of administration and dealing with technical issues on SSAS & SIPP contracts
- Experience of analysing the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on administration processes
- Experience of developing and documenting standard procedures / training notes
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Ability to enjoy juggling numerous and complex priorities daily, balancing ‘important’ with ‘urgent’
- Computer literate in the use of office systems e.g., Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, database
Desirable:
- FPC or ACII or equivalent
- Project management experience
- Client relationship/management experience
