The Section Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Section, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of operational activities. The role is responsible for the accurate administration of rosters, timesheets, work orders, systems and databases, while supporting key business processes, including Assessment in the Line (AITL). Working closely with the Section Manager and wider administrative team, the post holder maintains high standards of data integrity, confidentiality and compliance, contributing to the safe and smooth running of day-to-day operations.
- Administer rosters and timesheets accurately and within required timescales, ensuring data integrity and supporting the effective deployment of resources.
- Maintain and update operational systems, databases and records, ensuring information is accurate, complete and compliant with company requirements, including the opening and closing of work orders.
- Provide administrative support for the Assessment in the Line (AITL) process, ensuring documentation, records and activities are managed consistently and in line with operational and compliance standards.
- Establish, maintain and continuously improve filing and record-management systems, ensuring the secure handling of confidential, personal and safety-critical information.
- Deliver a broad range of administrative and business support activities for the Section Manager and wider team, exercising sound judgement, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Monitor and manage administrative workflows, identifying and escalating issues where appropriate to support effective operational performance.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, providing responsive customer-focused support and facilitating the efficient flow of information across the Section.
Work collaboratively with other Section Administrators to provide flexible support and cross-cover arrangements, ensuring continuity of service and the smooth operation of the business.

This vacancy is Band 6, salary starting £25,418 and raising to £30,000 DOE.
