We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to work in our restaurant, Meadow Croft Kitchen. This is a casual, part time time role to include predominantly working weekdays though some weekend work may be required. Additional hours are available for those looking to earn a little extra. We are offering an immediate start. Hours offered are either 9am-5pm, or 11am-5pm.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertaking kitchen porter duties, including washing up, cleaning the kitchen, washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.
- Running food and clearing tables (and assisting customers if required).
- Supporting with the replenishment of kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and other such items, as well as general restocking.
- Maintaining products and fixtures to keep them in pristine condition.
- Maintaining an understanding and knowledge of health and hygiene practices.
- To support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met.
Our restaurant, Meadow Croft Kitchen, is an integral part of our garden centre, as are the team members that make our restaurant so successful. Meadow Croft Kitchen has a well-established reputation for serving delicious homemade dishes, bakes and cakes, together with daily specials and afternoon tea.
