Overview
We are seeking an experienced KP/restaurant cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our busy food establishment. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service environments, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to health and safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team, ensuring the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations and exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen surfaces, appliances, utensils, and food preparation areas in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly after use.
- Follow strict health and safety protocols, including proper waste disposal and sanitisation procedures.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Support the team with general hospitality duties, including serving guests when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment with a focus on cleaning or kitchen support roles.
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking processes is desirable.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
