Uniform Education are currently recruiting for a Team Teach trained Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in South West London.
The school supports boys aged 5–19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a safe, structured and nurturing environment where pupils are supported to build confidence, develop positive relationships and achieve their potential.
This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Behaviour Mentor who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and managing challenging behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Team Teach qualification (essential)
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour
- Confident managing behaviour and de-escalating situations
- Patient, resilient and committed to supporting young people
- Available full-time Monday to Friday from September
