Walworth Castle Hotel is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Full-Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique castle setting, supporting service across our Tavern restaurant, bars, weddings and events.
The Role
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service throughout their visit. No two days are the same, with opportunities to work across restaurant service, bar operations, functions and weddings.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and serving guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Taking food and drink orders and delivering table service
- Preparing and maintaining restaurant and bar areas
- Assisting with weddings, conferences and special events
- Processing payments using EPOS systems
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver smooth and efficient service
- Supporting the team to create memorable guest experiences
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
- A passion for delivering great service
