We’re looking for a skilled Prep Technician to join our Volkswagen dealership in Solihull.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out vehicle and equipment preparation in line with company standards
- Perform basic mechanical checks and identify defects or damage
- Prepare vehicles for MOTs, servicing, inspections, or customer handover
- Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
- Remove and refit vehicle components where required
- Assist technicians and workshop staff with general preparation tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a workshop, automotive, fleet, or preparation environment preferred
- Level 2 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Ability to use workshop tools and equipment safely
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
