Your role as an IT Apprentice will include:
- Providing IT support to clients on-site and remotely and answering client queries.
- Keeping systems secure and up to date.
- Using ticketing systems to keep a log of issues and updating documentation.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Monitoring critical systems such as backup systems and antivirus systems.
We are looking for an IT Apprentice who is:
- Experience working in a first line support team and understanding of the demands.
- Determination to always take a task to its completion.
- Ability to work efficiently on your own, or as a supportive team member.
- Experience of working to tight and moving deadlines.
Candidate requirements:
- Good understanding and operating of desktop systems
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage client expectations
- Ability to identify Customer Needs and Challenges
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Being influential, confident and motivated
- Being logical and decisive
- Being objective, flexible and independent
