Duties
- Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizing access for employees, visitors, and contractors

- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
- Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid when required and coordinating with emergency responders
- Enforce site policies through effective crowd control and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation accurately and promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and unauthorized access
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, including administering first aid when needed
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during visual inspections and surveillance tours
- Clear communication skills for interacting confidently with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness
- Basic understanding of security protocols, crowd management, and emergency response procedures
