JOB TITLE: Sales Coordinator (fixed term)
LOCATION: Bicester (hybrid: 3 days on-site)
About the Role
We’re looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role plays a key part in delivering a consistently high standard of service to both external customers and internal stakeholders across sales, engineering, supply chain, and finance.
You will be responsible for managing enquiries, processing orders, and coordinating across multiple functions to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Customer & Order Management
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, quotations, and orders
- Ensure all customer requests are responded to within 24 hours
- Process and manage a wide range of enquiries (commercial, technical, quality)
- Oversee order progression and provide proactive updates to customers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Field Sales, Application Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance
- Coordinate internally to ensure all customer requirements are met
- Support alignment across international teams and functions
Planning & Market Awareness
- Develop an understanding of customer needs, project pipelines, and forecasts
- Contribute insights to support business planning and customer satisfaction
Process & Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and documentation
- Ensure all activities follow company processes and compliance standards
- Monitor and reduce errors, identifying and implementing improvements where needed
Continuous Improvement
- Take a proactive approach to problem solving and process optimisation
- Support initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality
Additional Responsibilities
- Follow up on actions from internal teams and ensure timely completion
- Support broader team objectives and take on additional tasks as required
What We’re Looking ForExperience
- Experience working in aninternational company, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing support or sales role
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong technical understanding and ability to interpret product information
- Good understanding of supply chain and planning processes
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and business systems
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
