Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Quality Inspector, you will support the Quality Leader at our Distribution Centre in Fradley Park and play a key role in maintaining high quality standards across a range of Newell Brands products. You will ensure that inspection activities across the site are carried out consistently and effectively.
You will work in line with ISO standards and internal quality requirements, embedding these into daily operations and setting the standard for best practice. You will take ownership of quality standards, helping to ensure that only products meeting all required specifications are approved and released to the market.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Document and maintain all test criteria in line with Quality System requirements, ensuring full compliance.

Carry out product testing in accordance with quality procedures and objectives to confirm products meet specifications.

Handle the testing of customer returns in line with the quality manual, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication of results to the Claims Department.

Complete stock inspections within the required timeframe, following AQL standards, and support the control of the locked stock report at Fradley Park.

Conduct routine warehouse checks to ensure products are in saleable condition and meet market requirements.

Identify and report potential quality issues to the Quality Leader, providing clear and timely feedback.

Support data collection and reporting for Newell supplier and manufacturing quality teams, and coordinate quality-related improvement activities.

Coordinate inspection requests with the VAS (Value Added Services) Department for selected products and maintain the sample cage.

Support internal and external ISO audits to maintain ISO 9001 certification, including inspection and approval of dispenser printing from the 3PL vendor.
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
-
Good understanding of Quality Systems, with the ability to work in line with standards, procedures and instructions.

Confident using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SAP.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
