Role Summary
Dongard Scaffolding Limited are expanding the fall protection division and currently have a great opportunity for Fall protection (Crash decking) installers to work with our new G Deck system, working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Our sites are throughout the Northeast on new build housing contracts for all the major house builders.
This is a permanent position with excellent hourly rates and overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Erection and dismantle of G Deck Dual Fall arrest system
- Control of on-site materials (Good housekeeping)
- Handing over the completed system to the client with written certification
- Working closely with their contract’s supervisor and the clients’ contracts manager
Qualifications Required
- FASET Trained – This is not essential if you have previous decking installation experience, as FASCET certification / training will be provided
- CSCS / CISRS card
- Further training will be provided by Dongard for specific site requirements
Skills/Qualities
- Good communication skills
- Confident to erect and dismantle fall arrest systems whilst working to programme and instruction from the Dongard supervisor
- Good organising skills (On site housekeeping)
- Good time management
- Driving licence
- Excellent awareness of Health and Safety requirements and following site rules and regulations
