Looking for a role where your organisation, attention to detail and people skills genuinely make a difference?
At Informed Financial Planning, we're not just looking for someone to process paperwork. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys helping people and wants to build a career with a business that invests in its people.
We're an independent, Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Yorkshire, established in 2004. For more than 20 years, we've been helping individuals, families and business owners make informed decisions about their financial futures. Our approach is built around long-term relationships, professionalism and exceptional client service.
Our vision is simple: Changing Lives for the Better.
If you're organised, proactive and enjoy being part of a team where your work has a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Client Services Administrator, you'll be an important part of the team supporting our Financial Planners and helping us deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.
You'll help make sure things happen when they should, information is accurate and clients are kept informed throughout their journey with us.
This is a varied role where no two days are exactly the same. You'll work with clients, Financial Planners, product providers and colleagues across the business, building your knowledge and developing your career within financial services.
You'll also receive support towards the CII Certificate in Regulated Financial Services, giving you the opportunity to develop professional knowledge and progress within the industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing day-to-day administration support to our Financial Planners
- Keeping client records accurate, complete and up to date
- Obtaining information, valuations and illustrations from product providers
- Chasing outstanding business to make sure clients aren't subject to unnecessary delays
- Processing client administration and keeping clients regularly updated
- Answering client and provider enquiries by telephone and email
- Producing client review reports within agreed timescales
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding payments where required
- Managing your daily workload and making sure deadlines are met
- Following IFP processes and workflows to ensure work is completed accurately
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
- Delivering a friendly, professional and efficient service to our clients and professional partners
About You
You don't need to be a financial services expert to start here.
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, approachable and takes pride in doing a great job.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- The ability to manage deadlines and take responsibility for your workload
- Confidence communicating with clients, providers and colleagues
- Good Microsoft 365 skills
- A positive, collaborative approach to working with others
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop
Financial services experience and knowledge of Intelligent Office would be advantageous, but they aren't essential.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our values and wants to build a long-term career with us.
Why Join Informed Financial Planning?
