About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will combine hands-on care with leadership responsibilities, supporting both clients and fellow care staff to ensure exceptional standards are maintained.
You'll work closely with the Registered Care Manager and play a key role in:
- Supporting and mentoring carers.
- Conducting spot checks, supervised visits and competency assessments.
- Completing client assessments and reviews.
- Liaising with families and healthcare professionals.
- Supporting the on-call service.
- Assisting with training and induction of new staff.
- Promoting best practice and maintaining our Outstanding standards.
- Providing hands-on care and covering calls when required.

What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
✔ Living within approximately 35 minutes of New Malden.
✔ Weekend availability.
✔ Ability to use a mobile phone app for care documentation.
✔ Strong written and spoken English.
✔ Consistent availability during school holidays.
✔ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
