Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems with precision
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and system calibrations
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems through troubleshooting procedures and testing equipment
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or cumbersome vehicle parts or equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic or similar role with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and repair manuals accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair standards
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately
