Schedule: Monday to Friday (Standard 8–10 hour shifts)
About the Role
CiviX Group Ltd is recruiting experienced, site-proven Skilled Groundworkers for civil and groundworks projects.
We are looking for reliable, all-round groundworkers who can cover all aspects of groundworks from the ground up, work off drawings, and get stuck in without needing held by the hand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drainage: Deep & shallow drainage, pipe laying, manhole construction, and benching.
- Finishes: Kerbing, edgings, slabbing, block paving, and concrete finishing.
- Foundations & Site Prep: Sub-structure works, ducting, service trenches, and line/level work.
- Plant Interaction: Working safely alongside 360 excavators and dumpers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- CSCS Card: Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Groundworks / Civil Engineering).
- Plant Tickets (Desirable): CPCS / NPORS for Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride-on Roller, or 360 Excavator is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years' proven experience in all aspects of civil engineering and groundworks.
- Tax Status: Valid UTR Number for weekly CIS payment.
- Legals: Right to Work in the UK.
- Transport: Full UK Driving Licence and own transport preferred.
- Kit: Full PPE (Hard Hat, High-Vis, Steel Toe Boots) and basic hand tools.
Pay & Hours
- Pay Rate: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour (CIS) depending on tickets, experience, and site requirements.
- Hours: 40+ hours per week (Overtime available on select sites).
- Payment Terms: Weekly CIS payment.
