Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts to develop their skills within a dynamic and reputable establishment. The Chef de Partie will work under the supervision of the Sous Chef and Head Chef, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of designated sections within the kitchen
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times
- Support the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff where applicable
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and improvements
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, including allergen management and HACCP procedures
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting with high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving practices and customer service standards
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality industry
Pay: £31,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
