Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to support the smooth operation of our establishment. Duties
- Assist in supervising the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of culinary quality.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive work environment.
- Coordinate food production activities to meet customer demands promptly.
- Assist with inventory control, stock management, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas.
- Support training programmes for staff development in areas such as food safety, service standards, and culinary techniques.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to uphold excellent service standards.
- Contribute to menu planning alongside head chefs or culinary teams, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal ingredients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and service.
- Supervising experience with a strong background in team management and leadership roles within the hospitality sector.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Practical kitchen experience including food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen organisation.
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable; barista experience is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to lead teams efficiently and interact professionally with customers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
