Temporary HR Administration Assistant
- Temporary Fixed-Term Contract (approximately 6–8 weeks)
- Day Rate: £120 - £140 dependant on experience
- Full-time (or part-time by agreement).

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administration Assistant to provide short-term support to our People & Culture team. This role will focus on cleansing and validating HR and payroll data, supporting HR administration, assisting with recruitment coordination and sourcing, and preparing employee data for the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large volumes of data, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting a range of administrative activities across the People & Culture function.
Key Responsibilities - Payroll & HR Data Cleansing
- Review, validate and cleanse employee and payroll data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify duplicate, incomplete or inaccurate records and work with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Update employee records across HR systems and spreadsheets.
- Ensure data is prepared and formatted for migration into a new HRIS.
HR Administration
- Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters and employment-related correspondence.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding administration.
- Support compliance with HR policies and data privacy requirements.
Recruitment Support
- Assist with recruitment administration and candidate coordination.
- Source candidates through online platforms and recruitment channels where required.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and applicant records.
HRIS Project Support
- Support activities associated with the implementation of a new HRIS.
- Assist with data validation, testing and quality assurance.
- Help prepare documentation and process mapping where required.
- Support the People & Culture team during the transition to the new system.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an HR Administration, Payroll Administration or HR support role.
- Experience working with payroll or HR data.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience supporting an HRIS implementation or data migration project.
- Recruitment coordination or candidate sourcing experience.
- Knowledge of payroll processes.
- Understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
