Overview:
Silver Birch Golf Club is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic assistant chef.
This is a varied, hands on role within a friendly golf club environment. The successful candidate will help with the preparation and service of quality food for members, visitors, and private functions.
We are looking for someone who can work as part of a small team as well as independently if required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the current chef with food preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.
- Take responsibility for kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, storage and stock rotation
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to continue developing the ethos of the golf club
Personal Specification:
- Previous experience of a similar role is required
- Reliability, punctuality, and pride in maintaining high standards
- A keen interest in developing the role as the business continues to expand
- The confidence to work independently when required
- The ability to work calmly when required
