Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Practice Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our dental facility. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, sterile, and welcoming environment for both staff and patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning tasks within the practice, adhering to health and safety regulations, and supporting the overall hygiene protocols of the clinic. Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital environments is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of treatment rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and staff facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Disinfect surfaces, dental chairs, instruments, and high-touch areas in accordance with infection control standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures to uphold the practice’s hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as hand sanitiser, paper towels, and other consumables as needed
- Follow strict health and safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to all infection control protocols specific to dental healthcare settings
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of infection control procedures within medical or dental practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and organisational skills
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemical safety guidelines
