Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Orthodontic Specialist to join our well-established, fully private dental practice in the heart of Greenwich, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician with expertise in complex orthodontic and surgical cases. Experience with Invisalign is essential, as you will be providing both comprehensive aligner treatments and specialist orthodontic care.
Working alongside our experienced team of specialists and referring dentists, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while helping to grow our orthodontic referral service.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing complex orthodontic cases, including multidisciplinary and surgical orthodontic treatment.
- Providing orthodontic treatment with Invisalign and fixed appliance systems.
- Collaborating with referring dentists and specialists to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
- Building and maintaining strong referral relationships.
- Delivering outstanding patient care in a modern, private practice environment.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, maintenance, and expected outcomes to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and observations meticulously.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques through continuous professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Full GDC registration and be on the GDC Specialist Register in Orthodontics (essential).
- Significant experience treating complex and surgical orthodontic cases.
- Proven experience with Invisalign treatment planning and delivery, with a strong understanding of dental anatomy.
- Excellent communication and patient management skills.
- A commitment to high clinical standards and continuous professional development.
- An interest in developing and growing a specialist referral base.
Position Details:
- Part-time position: One Saturday, with the potential to add one weekday session.
