Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your role will involve a variety of tasks that contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and the smooth operation of our establishment. Having a PERSONAL alcohol LICENSE would be a huge advantage for the job.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle payments accurately using basic maths skills for cash transactions.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and guest services.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Ability to upsell menu items with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A proactive approach to helping guests and resolving issues promptly.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
