Voids Superviser

c£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Whether you're an experienced superviser or looking to take the next step in your career, we're looking for a Voids Superviser (known internally as an Empty Homes Team Leader) to join our HomeFix team.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, operational oversight and team leadership. You'll play a key role in helping us return empty homes to customers as quickly as possible, leading a team of operatives and supporting the delivery of high-quality void works from inspection through to handover.
You'll carry out property inspections, produce specifications, coordinate surveys and compliance activities, monitor quality and support your team to deliver a right-first-time service. Working closely with Housing, Lettings and other colleagues, you'll help ensure homes are safe, compliant and ready to let.
We're looking for someone who:

Has experience leading, supervising or supporting colleagues within a repairs, maintenance, construction or housing environment.

Has experience inspecting properties and identifying required works.

Can produce clear specifications and schedules of work.

Can support colleagues to deliver high standards of performance, quality and customer service.

Has a good understanding of health and safety, compliance and lettable standards.

Can build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.

Uses data and information to drive improvements and solve problems.

Is organised, proactive and able to balance competing priorities.
A practical requirement of the role
This role involves regular travel between properties and sites across our operating area. You will therefore need access to a vehicle for business use and hold a full UK driving licence. Business mileage will be reimbursed in line with Saxon Weald policy.
